Most conversations about NetSuite bank connectivity start and end with one question: can it talk to my bank? It’s a fair question, but it’s the wrong starting point. 1. Supplier Onboarding and Vendor Maintenance
New suppliers are onboarded within NetSuite, or through an external onboarding process where required. 3. Payment Processing
NetSuite generates the payment batch and the corresponding ABA payment file. Where eftsure is implemented, that payment file is validated against independently verified supplier banking details before it goes anywhere near the bank. If a supplier’s bank details have changed, are unverified, or fail validation, the payment is held for investigation and reapproval rather than proceeding automatically. Where eftsure isn’t implemented, payments proceed according to the business’s standard approval processes.
Approved payments are then transmitted securely to the bank via OneKloudX’s bank integration, using PGP encryption over SFTP.
4. Bank Connectivity
